What is the difference between I-Share and Interlibrary Loan (ILL)?

I-Share is a service that allows current Dominican students, staff, and faculty to borrow books from other academic libraries in Illinois. If a book is not available through I-Share, current Dominican users can request the book through Interlibrary Loan (ILL), which searches for books in libraries outside of Illinois.
Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is also used for requesting the full text of articles not available in the Rebecca Crown Library databases.
